AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING
Aircraft Maintenance is the overhaul,repair,inspection or modification of an aircraft or aircraft component.Maintenance includes the installation or removal of a component from an aircraft or aircraft subassembly ,but does not include.
SCOPE IN INDIA
This field deals with the development of new technology in the field of aviation,space exploration and defence systems.As Aerospace engineering involves design and manufacture of very high technology systems,the job requires manual,technical as well as mechanical aptitude.
SCOPE ABROAD
India lies with various airlines like Air India,Indian Airlines,Helicopter Corporation of India and flying clubs,private airlines and government owned air service and aircraft manufactures like the Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd with its factories at Bangalore,Nashik,Koraput,Kanpur etc,.On completion of training they are placed as assistant technical officers .They have to clear departmental examinations for further promotions.They may advance to administrative or executive positions or become consultants .
QUALIFICATIONS
10+2 with 50% aggregates marks in Physics and Mathematics or Graduation with PCM or Diploma in engineering.Age should be between 17 to 24 years.
