QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum eligibility for pursuing a B.Sc in Biotechnology,is the successful completion of 10+2 in Science.Successful completion of B.Sc [Biotechnology] is the minimum eligibility for Master's degree in Biotechnology.In order to do a Ph.D in Biotechnology,one needs to have completed one's Master's degree in Biotechnology.It is ideal to clear the CSIR-UGC JRF Examination in order to pursue a doctoral research in Biotechnology.
SCOPE IN INDIA
Career in biotechnology is a good option in India as the country has witnessed remarkable growth in biotechnology.India has become a best destination for biotechnology industry due to good network of research laboratories ,rich biodiversity,well developed base industries,rich agriculture sector and trained manpower.The Biotechnologists in India get employed in various government-based and private Universities and research Institutes as research scientists or assistants.
